  How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?  My product did not challenge any conventions. It stayed within its genre. I actually used the videos within the genre to get inspo for this music video because the song that my group chose didn’t release a music video. For one video within the genre they used a split screen throughout the whole video. It also put emphasis on the subject using pans and different lighting. This gave me inspiration for my group’s music video because I also incorporated some split screens in the video. I also was in charge of the costumes, making sure everyone dressed for the occasion, the props, and makeup. For this music video no one was wearing makeup because it wasn’t as significant as the others. Furthermore, the music video did represent a social issue; dealing with long distance. A lot of people may meet someone they have an interest towards but they can’t see them as often as they would like too

 I loved fliming for the music video. I loved being a small part in the editing process. I loved my group. I loved how smooth the process is going far. I just love this experience overall. A reason for that was because of the people I chose to work with. I chose hard working people and people who dont give up. They are constantly focused on their work and they are smart peopel as well. They push me to be the best person I can be. Also, hanging out with them was fun. They came over to my house to flim for this production and it was fun. Had a lot of funny moments and it was a great time. I'm able to be myself around them which I'm grateful for. I'm also glad that it was a small group. I work better in smaller groups and it's easier to get the work done. I also wanted to start fliming early in the month. I didn't want to rush to get the assingment done. I didn't want to procrasinate. It also gave us time to edit and see what we want changed. I know I suggested a f
