Future Calls Storyboard

 





 Scene 1: It's the evening and Nala is on the phone with her phone friend, My'Kayla, about a party happening on Sunday.

Scene 2: My'Kayla tells Nala that she needs to find a ride to to the party since it's coming up soon.

Scene 3: Nala is talking in a stressed tone about not having a ride to the party because her family is out of town.

Scene 4: My'Kayla comforts Nala by letting her know she has friends she can hangout with while her family is out of town.

Scene 5: Nala thanks My'Kayla for comforting and tells her she has to hang up now to finish doing her laundry.

Scene 6: My'Kayla tells Nala "bye" in a cheery tone before she hangs up the phone.

Scene 7: Nala also tells My'Kayla bye and then hangs up the phone.

Scene 8: An establishing shot of the laundry room located at the back of the house.

Scene 9: Nala's taking her laundry out of the wet machine into the dryer.

Scene 10: The house phone in the kitchen starts ringing.

Scene 11: Nala walks into the kitchen to go pick up the phone ringing in the kitchen.

Scene 12: Nala picks up the phone that is ringing and asks who is on the phone.

Scene 13: Nala speaks into the phone and doesn't hear a voice answering her back.

Scene 14: Since Nala doesn't hear anything so she hangs up the phone.

Scene 15: Nala heads back to the laundry room and continues to takes her laundry out of the wet machine, a little suspicious of the phone call.

Scene 16: The phone in the kitchen rings for a second time.

Scene 17: Nala enters the kitchen again after hearing the phone ring again.

Scene 18: Nala picked up the phone realizing it was the same number.

Scene 19: Nala says hello again and hopes that someone answers her this time.

Scene 20: Nala then asks who is on the phone, confused why they called again.

Scene 21: The voice on the other line answers this time and responds with "I'm you".

Scene 22: Nala laughs a little, not believing that the person on the phone is not actually her.

Scene 23: The person on the phone responds with a weird response:

"Hide."

Scene 24: Nala begins to get a little creeped out and questions the person on the phone back.

Scene 25: The person tells her to hide again with no explanation or reason why she should.

Scene 26: Nala, still creeped out, asks who she needs to hide from.

Scene 27: The person tells her to hide, again with no explanation why she would need to.

Scene 28: Nala then hangs up the phone, being creeped out more than before.

Scene 29: Nala then walks into her room to get a bag of chip, still creeped out by the phone call from earlier.

Scene 30: The person on the phone turns out to be her future self and pops up in far distance, scaring Nala.
