Production Blog: Setting up the scene

This music video is a group project but we decided that it would take place at my house. My house isn't small but it isn't big either. Although, I share a room with my sister, I will make make the most of the space that's given to us. I have all the necessary places to make it look like an actually party. This includes the living room, the bedroom, and my driveway. With the help of editing, props, and proper background effects, these places will match the scene correctly. The editing will include different camera angles to add emphasis on certain objects or anything. The props can include drinks, cups, the car, and more. Since the music videos takes place mainly at a party and within a bedroom, those 2 scenes will be the main focus. One scene will take place in the living room. The other will take place within one or two of the bedroom's in my house. For the party scenes, we can use sparkling water to ressemble wine. We are underage so that wouldn't be legal to use the actually drink. However, we can work our way around it. The subjects would be dressed in the appropriate attire to seem as if they are actually at a party. Moving on the bedroom scenes. This scene is straight forward because there wouldn't need to be as many props and editing in order to determine where the scene takes place. Overall, the process will be smooth. The end result will be amazing. The charcters, lighting, editing, and more will bring life to this music video.
